Mrs Durocher hid 100 numbers all over the room.  We hunted for them and matched them to the same number on the hundreds chart...we found all but one!
We also wrote our name over and over on a blank hundreds chart and then colored them...it was cool to see all the different patterns our names made.  The best part was sharing our 100 bottles.  We filled them with 100 things and wrote clues.  Our classmates tried to guess what was in our bottles from the clues.  We had everything from paperclips to licorice.  We also had a snack of 100!

I recently added some slideshows of pictures from the Christmas Party, Polar Express Day, Making Gingerbread Houses and our Valentine's Party.  Check them out on the Class Movies page.

We had a fabulous time at our Valentine's Day party on Friday!  Mrs. Van Dusen brought in a heart shaped potato to show us!  That was weird.  We graphed the letters on our candy hearts.  We also sorted them by colors and created a graph.  We estimated and counted how many candy hearts we could hold in one hand.  We passed out our valentines to our friends.  Each of us had made a box for our valentines that had a bunny, frog or a bear on it.  They turned out so cute!  We also had so many great Valentine treats (thanks to our parents) and enjoyed a fun time with our friends.
